The PhD program in Islamic Studies aims to provide researchers with an in-depth understanding of various fields within Islamic studies, including jurisprudence and its principles, Islamic creed and thought, Quranic exegesis and sciences, Hadith studies, as well as Islamic history and contemporary Islamic thought.
The program focuses on developing rigorous research skills, critical analysis, and the ability to utilize both classical and contemporary sources in studying Islamic issues. It also offers students the opportunity to specialize in specific areas according to their research interests, with the possibility of applying modern methodologies in Islamic studies and benefiting from digital research technologies.
To earn the PhD degree, candidates must complete a set of advanced courses in addition to preparing an original dissertation that contributes to enriching knowledge in the field of Islamic studies, under the supervision of a distinguished faculty of experts.
Doctoral Programs:
Duration: The doctoral program focuses on preparing a research dissertation over a period of 24 to 48 months, with students also required to complete 5 to 8 specialized courses.
Tuition Fees: $9,500 for the entire program.
Scholarships: Discounts of up to 50% are offered to students from war-torn and crisis-affected countries.
Payment Options: Fees can be paid in installments over two years, divided into five equal payments.
Initial Registration Fee:
A one-time registration fee of $100 is required upon enrollment in any of the university's academic programs. This fee does not apply to professional and training programs.
