Bachelor’s in Clinical Nutrition
I. Program Description:
The Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition is an academic and applied program designed to prepare qualified Clinical Nutritionists (Dietitians). Graduates will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to assess the nutritional needs of individuals and communities, and to design therapeutic dietary plans for the prevention and management of diseases (such as diabetes, heart diseases, renal failure, and digestive disorders).
The curriculum focuses on integrating foundational sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Physiology) with clinical sciences (Pathology, Nutritional Biochemistry, Clinical Nutritional Assessment). The program includes intensive practical training in hospitals and health centers to ensure students gain direct experience in clinical healthcare and nutritional management.

• Total Credit Hours: 120 credit hours minimum.

III. Program Objectives
The Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition program seeks to achieve the following objectives:
• In-Depth Clinical Knowledge: To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between nutrition, biological and physiological functions, and disease, as well as the impact of genetic and environmental factors on nutritional needs.
• Assessment Skills: To develop students' skills in conducting comprehensive clinical nutritional assessments (such as dietary history, anthropometric measurements, and laboratory tests).
• Therapeutic Planning: To train students in designing and implementing effective personalized therapeutic nutritional plans for various health conditions and age groups, and applying advanced Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) principles.
• Ethical and Professional Practice: To instill commitment to professional standards and ethics, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team (Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists).
• Applied Training: To provide at least 1000 hours of supervised clinical training in accredited healthcare settings, linking theory with practical application.
