Preparing scientific specialists and health leaders with a solid knowledge base and modern laboratory and digital skills, who practice evidence-based practice (EBP) and lead sustainable public-health initiatives—within bilingual (Arabic/English) instruction that upholds professional ethics and patient safety.
Programs and Unique Features
First: B.Sc. in Clinical Nutrition (3 years – 8 semesters)
Program Identity: Preparing nutrition professionals capable of conducting nutritional assessments and designing evidence-based therapeutic plans for diverse populations and medical conditions.
Unique Features:
• Strong scientific foundation: anatomy, chemistry/food chemistry, microbiology, biostatistics, and health psychology.
• Applied competencies: nutritional assessment, food–drug interactions, nutrition across the life course, and community & sports nutrition.
• Progressive clinical and community training (in-person/virtual) with professional portfolios and systematic feedback.
• Use of meal-analysis software and anthropometric indicators, with exposure to electronic medical records.
• Instruction in practice ethics, food safety, and quality of health services.
• A capstone project addressing a real health/community problem in partnership with an external stakeholder.
Second: M.Sc. in Nutrition and Public Health (4 semesters)
Program Identity: Deepening specialization at the intersections of nutrition and public health to design effective, evidence-based interventions.
Unique Features:
• Core courses: epidemiology, biostatistics, advanced human nutrition, diet-related chronic diseases, program design & evaluation, and health communication.
• Public-health data lab (dashboards, survey analysis, generation of evidence and food policy).
• Option of a research thesis or an applied project implemented with a health/community partner.
• Colloquia on food policy, research ethics, and engagement with vulnerable populations.
• Opportunities for collaboration with health NGOs and research centers, and support for scholarly publication.
