PhD in Curriculum and Instruction – California University of Science and Technology

 

This program aims to prepare researchers and experts in curriculum design, development, and evaluation, grounded in contemporary educational theories and global standards.

It combines advanced theoretical and applied research training within the American education system, empowering graduates to lead educational reform and contribute to national and international policy-making.

 

Program Objectives:

Enable researchers to develop innovative, research-based curriculum models.

Deepen philosophical and pedagogical understanding of curriculum, assessment, and instruction.

Prepare graduates to lead institutional change and educational development.

Strengthen skills in qualitative and comparative research in education.

Note: Each course equals 3 credit hours based on the American credit system.

Semester 2:

International Comparative Curriculum

Leadership and Change in Educational Institutions

Doctoral Dissertation (Applied research under academic supervision)

 

Duration of Study:

Three academic years (extendable to four), totaling 48 to 60 credit hours.
